Prizba is located on the southwestern coast of the island of Korcula. The coast of this part of the island is mainly rocky, with many bays and coves and with just several pebble beaches. Beach "Veli Zal" is approximately 100 metres long pebble beach, located in a well protected bay "Vela Prizba" on the eastern side of Ratak, a small peninsula located in the centre of Prizba. "Veli Zal" is the most beautiful and most popular beach in Prizba. Translated from Croatian, the name of the beach means "large pebble beach". The water here is perfectly clean, and the sea is crystal clear. The pebbles on the beach are small, and the entrance to the water is shallow, which makes it ideal for families with children. The underwater life is very rich, with lush meadows of sea weed, many different types of fish, shells and starfish. Next to the beach, in the direction of peninsula Ratak there is a stretch of rocky coast with concrete slabs where it is possible to sunbathe and easily access the sea. Further to the east, there are several small pebble beaches in Prizba, one of them being "Mali Zal" (small pebble beach). The beach "Veli Zal" is accessible by car, and there is a small parking close to the beach. On the opposite side of the peninsula, there is small port, snack bar, restaurant and close by there is a grocery store. There is no shade on the beach "Veli Zal" in Prizba, except in the afternoon when large stone wall serves as a protection from the sun. On the beach it is possible to rent jet-ski and boat, and there is a windsurfing school. Priscapac is a small peninsula on the eastern part of the holiday village of Prizba, where small tourist resort is located. There are several restaurants and bars there, grocery store, sport courts, diving centre and everything one needs to spend a perfect day on the beach. The beach Priscapac in Prizba is located on both sides of Priscapac peninsula. It is a beautiful pebble beach, suitable for children. There is possibility of renting lounge chairs, parasols, kayaks, small boat or jet-ski on the beach. Around the beach there are concrete slabs ideal for sunbathing and for the access to the sea. The car access to the beach is possible, with parking available in the holiday resort Priscapac. The beach is perfectly clean, with showers and toilettes. The rest of the coast on peninsula Priscapac is very steep, rocky and not easily accessible, but there is a small path you can use to explore this small peninsula. It is important to note that this beach is not crowded, even in the main tourist months of July and August.
